Consultation:
We come to your home at your convenience at no charge to evaluate the work site,
discuss all project ideas, and answer any of your questions or concerns.
Detailed Proposal:
Based on the information discussed at the consultation we work up a detailed proposal for
your review. The proposal will outline the scope of the work and the price to complete the
project.
Contract:
Upon you, the client, approving the proposal a contract will be written to outline the scope
of the work, the price, completion time, as well as any and all applicable California laws
and regulations. The laws and regulations are written into the contract to protect you, the
client. Those laws and regulations include a three day right to cancel, notice of
mechanics' lien, information pertaining to my contractor's license, as well as any
stipulations to help protect the contractor and the integrity of the contract.*
Change Orders:
If at any time the signed contract has to be changed a change order will be written to
document those changes. Changes are anything that goes beyond the scope of the
agreed upon contract or adds additional work to the scope of the work. The change order
will outline the price for the additional work and a payment schedule.*
Payment:
Payment for services can be in the form of check, cash, or money order made payable to
Ken Jones d.b.a K and H Custom Home Solutions. Payments for any and all work will be
outlined in the payment schedule attachment to the contract.
*Any asbestos or hazardous materials including lead paint found before or during the project are not, at
any time, covered under any contract issued by Ken Jones d.b.a. K and H Custom Home Solutions.
